The dog companion can be commanded from the radial menu. It can carry items, warn about dangers, and look for interesting loot.
Carry capacity: 15 inventory slots.
How to get the dog: Dog Days. Enter Bone Cave, go deeper into it, heal the dog with any Bandage and feed it raw meat.

Container, petting, behavior, follow and search commands become available after bonding. Heal and Feed are used during the companion quest.
